Description: Explore wildlife in their natural habitat, we enjoy close encounters with some of the resident animals in the park. Some of the animals we will encounter are Elephant, Zebra, Red hartebeest, Warthog (Pumba) and Cape buffalo, some of the rarer sightings are Lion, Caracal, Kudu, Hyena and Black Rhino. These are wild animals; we cannot guarantee sightings. Enjoy lunch at the restaurant or at the Padstal near Schotia if you want more time viewing animals in Addo. Schotia is the oldest private game reserve in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, bordering the eastern side of Addo Elephant National Park. Schotia has over 40 mammal species and approximately 2000 animals. At Schotia you can experience a great variety of animals in a smaller park than Addo Elephant National Park. Note this is a shared tour, this means that other guests can also join in on the same booking. Duration: We plan to spend 5 hours in Addo Elephant Park with guests excluding travel time from client's pickup location. Lunch is included in this trip. Then we also spend another 6 hours at Schotia Safaris, this includes dinner at the Lapa. All-inclusive this is a 12-hour day. Highlights: Addo Elephant Park is the third-largest National Park in South Africa. Addo Elephant Park is a park dedicated to all the elephants. Tour is guided by a professional qualified guide. Schotia was the first reserve in the Cape Province to have free roaming lions and we can almost guarantee sightings of these magnificent animals on every drive. Pick up and drop off times: Pickup times are determined upon booking as it is determined based on client's pickup location. Please bear in mind that arrival back at the client pickup location will be determined by our departure time. What’s included: Entrance Fee to Addo as well as Schotia, Tea.
